A fire inside an industrial dryer happened Thursday in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.
Crews were dispatched to the scene around 9:58 a.m. at Pennway Corporation on Washington Avenue.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the fire happened inside a room-sized dryer. Boxes of a powder being dried caught ablaze.
The fire was put down quickly, Croydon Fire Company Chief Tom Tryon said.
No injuries were reported.

The Croydon Fire Company and Bristol Township Fire Rescue were assisted at the scene by Bristol Consolidated, Cornwells, Edgely, Goodwill Hose, Newportville, Levittown No. 2, Third District, and Union.
